Ad, Marketing Companies Rate High In Glassdoor’s Top CEO Lists
Glassdoor released its Employees’ Choice Awards late Tuesday night, naming the top CEOs for 2018 based on input from employees who elected to anonymously submit a company review.
The Glassdoor 2018 Employees’ Choice Awards for the Top CEOs feature six distinct company categories. Company reviews and ratings from current and former employees were considered if they left between May 2, 2017 and May 1, 2018.
The categories were broken down into the 100 Top CEOs of large U.S. companies, 50 Top CEOs of small and medium-sized companies in the U.S., 50 Top CEOs in the UK, 25 Top CEOs in Canada, 10 Top CEOs in France, and 10 Top CEOs in Germany.
Sanjit Biswas, CEO at Samsara, a software company, took the top spot with a 99% approval rating for the top 50 CEOs of small and medium-sized companies in the U.S. Marketing and advertising company Acceleration Partners CEO Robert Glazer took the No. 2 spot with a 99% approval rating.
Elite SEM CEO Ben Kirshner made it to No. 12, with an approval rating of 98%, and Marketing 360 co-CEOs Joe Kellogg and JB Kellogg took the No. 13 spot, with an approval rating of 98%.
Not your average tech companies landed on the top of the list. Zoom Video Communications CEO Eric Yuan took the No. 1 spot in the 100 Top CEO of large U.S. companies with an approval rating of 99%. Michael Mahoney, CEO at Boston Scientific made the list at No. 2, with a 99% approval rating. Daniel Springer at DocuSign also made the list with a 99% approval rating.
LinkedIn’s Jeff Weiner took the No. 8 spot with an approval rating of 97%. Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff came in at No. 10, while Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen at No. 13, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg at No. 16, and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella at No. 20 made the top of the list.
Landing somewhere in the middle, Google CEO Sundar Pichai made the list at No. 45 with a 94% approval rating. Tim Cook made the list at No. 96 with an approval rating of 91%.
