AI-Based Enterprise Search Integrates Tech From OpenAI, Google, Others
C3 AI, an artificial intelligence software company founded by entrepreneur Thomas Siebel, released the first product in a suite it calls C3 Generative AI Product Suite.
The first product, C3 Generative AI for Enterprise Search, uses a natural-language interface to locate, retrieve, and present all relevant data across an entire enterprise’s information system.
The suite of products will integrate the latest AI technology and capabilities from OpenAI, Google, and others.
C3 AI will integrate into its suite of products some of the most advanced models, such as ChatGPT and GPT-3.
Siebel believes that combining natural language, generative pre-trained transformers, enterprise AI, and predictive analytics will change everything about enterprise computing.
The C3 Generative AI Product Suite embeds advanced transformer models with C3 AI’s pre-built AI applications, helping customers leverage these models.
The technology aims to accelerate transformation efforts across business functions and industries, including supply chain, sustainability, reliability, CRM, ESG, aerospace, oil and gas, utilities, CPG, healthcare, financial services, and defense and intelligence.
The company scheduled C3 Generative AI for general release in March 2023.
Even back in 2020, Omdia, a global technology research firm, named C3 AI one of the five leaders around AI and machine-learning (ML) development, along with Dataiku, IBM, Microsoft and SAS.
