Brightcove, Magnite Partner To Enhance Ad Monetization
Streaming tech company Brightcove has partnered with sell-side ad platform Magnite to help publishers improve revenue for video content.
Integrating with the SpringServe ad server will give customers a transparent view of available ad inventory.
Marc DeBevoise, CEO of Brightcove, said: “This integration with Magnite and SpringServe is a key step to enabling us to provide our customers with best-in-class solutions to meet their needs, allowing them to increase their ad fill rate and generate better CPMs.”
Brightcove operates in more than 80 countries. Publishers utilize Magnite to their content across all screens and formats, including CTV, online video, display, and audio.
“Through this integration, Brightcove customers gain access to advanced integrations that go beyond a standard VAST tag, real-time insights and reporting, and troubleshooting tools to optimize performance,” Sean Buckley, Chief Revenue Officer at Magnite, told Agency Daily.
He said his company is collaborating with Brightcove to introduce additional benefit,s such as enriching video inventory with content metadata.
Separately, a just-announced preferred relationship with Criteo’s global retailer partners will allow it to leverage Connected TV (CTV) through Magnite. The collaboration is expected to enhance Criteo’s Demand-side Platform, designed for enterprise brands and agencies.
According to eMarketer, CTV and retail media are among some of the fastest-growing digital ad channels this year, with CTV projected to grow 27.2% and retail media by 20.5% in the U.S.
