Spring Marketing Ideas
- Easter – Consider offering a special promo deal on certain products for the weekend of Easter (e.g. 40 percent off our Easter collection or 20 percent off XYZ products Easter weekend only!).
- Mother’s Day/ Father’s Day – Create a Pinterest board with products devoted to mom or dad (e.g. “Gifts All Father’s Will Love,” or “30 percent off jewelry with code MOM30”).
- Create a “Deal of the Day,” “Deal of the Week,” or “Deal of the Month” that correlates with that holiday or observance (e.g. “Deal of the Week” on all things Red, White, or Blue for the week leading up to Memorial Day).
- If a holiday or observance is associated with a color, consider providing deals on items in that color and creating banners that go out to affiliates in that color. For example, June 23rd is National Pink Day. You could create pink deal banners and offer a percentage off all pink products throughout the month, and then provide a bigger discount on the actual day.
Maximize Your Efforts With Multi-Channel Marketing
While these spring holiday marketing ideas are well-suited for emails and blog posts, announcing them on social media and other online channels allows you to simultaneously deepen and expand your reach.
In addition to other value-added content, post the holiday deal on Facebook and Twitter once a day leading up to the promotion.
Consider leveraging remarketing in order to connect with visitors to your website who did not make an immediate purchase or inquiry. This approach allows you to position targeted ads in front of them as they browse elsewhere on the internet.
There are so many ways you can incorporate spring holidays and observances into your affiliate marketing. The above tips can help plant the seeds, but your unique ideas and effort will make them bloom.
