When shoppers leave products in shopping carts, convert this into a sale through a follow-up email. These follow-up emails can remind customers what was left behind, and entice them to return with an incentive of free or faster shipping. Optimize for mobile.

Customers aren’t just shopping on their desktop computers, they’re scrolling through inventory while they wait in line, sit at a stoplight, or pass the time on their lunch breaks at work. Don’t lose these customers by having a website that’s difficult to navigate through on a smartphone or tablet device! Quality.

It may seem obvious to invest in high quality photos and product descriptions, but you’d be surprised at how many websites lack these essentials.
