Moz, which supports search engine optimization, on Wednesday announced the release of a product that offers enterprise-level rank tracking and search engine result page (SERP) analytics for brands and digital agencies.

The Google Data Studio Community Connectors for STAT connects with Google Data Studio to send and build interactive dashboards.
Daniel Crough, SEO performance analyst of TELUS, believes the reporting streamlines “a normally painstaking” process.

Perhaps that’s because SEOs often work with multiple tools, data sets and metrics, making reporting time-consuming and collaboration difficult, added Rob Ousbey, VP of product at Moz. He said the key is to ensure marketers remain more knowledgeable about their business and customers.

Moz data suggests that about 70% of marketers have reported cuts to marketing budgets as a result of COVID-19.

This approach to reporting enables marketers to find new ways to visually demonstrate SEO improvements over time. The connectors pull historical information on critical metrics such as historical keyword rankings, share of voice and ranking distributions.

These insights aim to help brands understand placement within a competitor landscape and which keywords are contributing to increasing visibility, engagement and overall mindshare.

Six connectors allow users to shape and layer data into interactive and shareable dashboards, providing deeper SERP insights through tag-level historical keyword rankings connector, site-level historical keyword, tag-level share of voice, site-level share of voice, tag-level ranking distributions, and site-level ranking distributions.
